necessary to get "Microsoft Exchange" to receive msn/hotmail emails [directly] on the 2nd gen. iPhone?
The 2007 [first gen.] iPhone was not compatible with msn mail, I was unable to get my emails right on the phone (had to log into msn.com and then log in my email account - major drag...). so I returned the iPhone 2 weeks after I got it, for that exact reason. The new iPhone coming out July 11th shows that it works with 'Microsoft Exchange'. What is that?Apples website indicates that most 'private users' do not use/or have 'Microsoft Exchange' unless their ISP offers it... or something?I use Wildblue as my [satellite] ISP, my email is a .....@msn.com account (the upgraded version, $20 per year). Is Microsoft Exchange a program only 'some' ISP use/offer? Anyone have any idea about Microsoft Exchange, how it works, if I can get msn/hotmail on the new iPhone?Any help/suggestions would be SO greatly appreciated. Thanks,Antje
